“FOOTWEAR”

Footwear Design Sneaker project, HANDBALL ONES-concrete crosstrainer. The selected sport for shoe design is Handball. These sneakers are designed with not only performance inmind but also to merge into the urban cultureof NYC parks. A large part of the sport lies in its setting in the inner city parks and trends of urban hip-hop culture. I incorporated an abstract of chain link fence into the design which commonly encloses courts that the game is played on. This detail is not only decorative but a structural element used for the laces.
